Metal Rolling & Forming
Metal Forming
We currently run three different press brakes daily ranging from 50 to 247 metric ton capacities. Our Metal Forming Department is responsible for bending all parts precisely to the specifications provided to us by our customers. Our experienced forming department includes extremely high levels of craftsmanship and skill which are thoroughly applied to all jobs to ensure that the cosmetic and dimensional features of the products are correct always.
Forming is similar to bending. Complex parts such as Usections, channel sections of different profiles can be produced by doing multiple bends. There is no change in thickness. Good dimensional repeatability as well as close tolerances is possible with this process. Bending using tight radiuses or in hard materials often results in burrs and fractures on the outside of the bends. These can be eliminated by using larger bend radiuses and by providing relief notches at the edges on the bend line.
Haeger 824 Plus Hardware Insertion Machine
The Haeger 824 Plus Hardware Insertion Machine produces 8 tons of ram force and is equipped with a fully hydraulic PLC electrical control. The positive stop cylinder is designed to allow the insertion of fasteners into soft material without damage to the material.
- 8 tons (72kN) of ram force; 24 inch (610mm) throat depth
- Fully hydraulic; PLC electrical controls
- Equipped with Haeger’s patented Safety System
- Includes Positive Stop Cylinder and Dwell Timer
The 824 Plus includes a Positive Stop Cylinder. The positive stop is designed for use with soft materials such as PC boards, plastics, fiberglass and aluminum—it allows fasteners to be inserted without crushing or deforming the part.
Haeger’s patented Safety System is effective at any point in the ram stroke irrespective of the tooling length, requiring no set up by the operator; thus not affecting initial machine set up time. The variable dwell timer is available for inserting fasteners into stainless steel.

Metal Rolling
Rolling metal is a skill that only comes with years of experience. From complex rolls to the simple curve we have several pieces of equipment to meet your rolling needs. The majority of our rolling is for sheet parts after being laser cut to shape; but we also have the capabilities to shape pipe and tube.
